Yukihito Nakata

Kasama ware  1988-

Nakata Seitou's aim is to create vessels that are easy to use and fit in with various scenes, with the motto of "making vessels that are close to our daily lives". Yukihito Nakata mainly produces works that incorporate the "tobikanna pattern," one of the traditional techniques of Kasama ware, into modern designs.

Graduated from Ibaraki Prefectural Kasama High School, Craft and Design Course
2008
Completed the Molding I Course at the Ibaraki Prefectural Industrial Technology Center, Ceramics Institute
2009
Group exhibition at Crafthill Kasama, "Exhibition of Works from Ceramics Institute II Course", completed Ceramics Institute II Course. Joined family business, Nakata Seitou Co.
2014
Joined the Kasama Pottery Cooperative Youth Club. Since then, participated in the group exhibition "Kasama Pottery Youth Club Exhibition" every year.
