Sachi Yamashita
Mino ware 1975-
In Gottomaki, Toki City in the land of Mino, I face the earth, talk with the flame, and fire my works in a kiln under the Takane Mountain where nature is abundant.
The murmuring of the river, the chirping of the birds and the changing seasons are all part of the experience that I hope you will enjoy with my works for many years to come.

Born in Tobe, Ehime Prefecture
1994
Graduated from Ehime Prefectural Matsuyama Minami High School, Tobe Branch, Design Course.
1995
Graduated from Aichi Prefectural Technical College of Ceramics.
1997
Studied under the late Ichiyo Nakajima at Itto Kiln in the ceramic village of Toki City, Gifu Prefecture.
2018
Established Goren Kiln.
Exhibited at venues including Keio Department Store Seiseki Sakuragaoka, Daiwa Department Store Korinbo, Daiwa Department Store Toyama, Matsuzakaya Shizuoka, Iyotetsu Takashimaya, and Gallery Tanaka (Matsuyama)
